It never rains but it pours!!

Analysts constantly tell us that January is a depressing month following the highs of Christmas and the expected landing of the credit card bill. On top of that January is traditionally one of the coldest and darkest months. Well for the team at BAS, January was also a very WET ONE!

No we didn’t experience a flood but we did take our Acoustic Louvres to BSRIA Northern to test the louvres for Weather Penetration. The results were very positive and we are pleased to announce that we have achieved Class A Rating upto 1.1m/s on intake.

We believe we are the first to meet this exacting standard with an acoustic louvre in the country.

Normally to meet the class A requirements along with an acoustic rating the client has to install a combination of a weather louvre with an acoustic louvre or silencer. Now we can offer one louvre to do both jobs! For more information please contact head office for prices and performance data.
