* Visual Free Area - this is the area that is most often quoted by our competitors to lure the client into a false sense of security. The visual free area has no impact whatsoever on the performance of the louvre. When comparing one manufacturers louvre to another a more realistic benchmark would be the Actual Free Area . This is taken at the at the smallest restriction of the airway rather than the front face.
The most important piece of technical data referring to the aerodynamic performance is the pressure drop at a given velocity or the relevent coefficient of entry / discharge.
